Hot 107.9’s Birthday Bash 20 was a movie. In addition to performances from Kanye West, Ludacris, Wale, and Migos, Future pulled out all the stops during his star-studded set at Atlanta’s Philips Arena on Saturday. The Freeband Gang leader kicked off the surprises by bringing out Meek Mill for “Monster.” Meek’s girl Nicki Minaj strut on stage with a purse and grinded up against her man as the crowd cheered.
“Where my bad bitches at? It feels good to be back in Atlanta,” said Nicki before passing the mic back to Meek, who performed “Dreams & Nightmares Intro” with his MMG brother Wale by his side.
The crowd went wild when Drake hit the stage for “Legend,” the remix to Fetty Wap’s “My Way,” and “Know Yourself.”
“I came out here to support a guy that everybody in Atlanta should be proud of. This ni**a Future crushing the whole world right now,” said Drizzy, who recently wrapped his “Jungle Tour” with Future. “He asked me to come out here tonight. I’ll do anything for my ni**a, man. That’s how we rock.”
He performed “Energy” before Future closed with his latest hit “Fuck Up Some Commas” with Drake playing hypeman.
